Until further notice,the Trenton Bike Exchange will only be open Saturdays 10 am to 3:45 pm. Due to our social distancing requirements, we are allowing only one customer at a time in the store. Others must wait outside (keeping 6' apart) until the current customer leaves. All customers entering the store must wear masks.

The New Jersey Bike Exchange is a non-profit organization run by the efforts of volunteers who collect, condition, and sell used, quality bikes from shops in New Brunswick, and Trenton. The Bike Exchange offers a large selection of low cost bikes for all riders, from 3 years of age to 100 years of age, from occasional or weekend riders to serious or frequent riders. All bikes sold are reconditioned and ready to ride. Drivers can test ride before purchase.
The missions of the Bike Exchange:
1) To provide low cost, quality bikes for families and individuals in Mercer County, and New
Brunswick.
2) To raise money for the Boys & Girls Club of Trenton NJ. All proceeds from the sales
of the bikes go to support the Trenton Boys & Girls Club's after-school programs.
3) To help Trenton teens get job readiness skills and bike repair skills in the Trenton Bike Exchange Annex, a
used bike shop where bikes are repaired and sold solely by Trenton teens.

We currently need volunteers to repair bikes, to help donators move bikes to our shop, and to aid customers in
selecting a bike.
The Bike Exchange accepts bike donations at their shops. In addition there are several bike drop locations that are listed in the "Donate Your Bike"tag on this website.
